Maltase, lactase and sucrase break down the dissacharides maltose (malt sugar), lactose (milk sugar) and sucrose (table sugar) into monosaccharides for absorption.

Cellulase and phytase break down cellulose and phytates which can bind essential minerals and other nutrients, preventing their abosrption.
