Treatment aims

Robert’s aim is to facilitate pain relief as quickly as possible within the limits of the injury, accepted recovery time scales and the individual concerned. This can vary depending on the nature of the injury, how long you’ve had it and how well you heal.

Alongside Robert’s 30+ years of clinical experience he is always looking at ways of developing his treatments to achieve faster and even more effective results. This can involve linking with other healthcare specialists, referring to General Practitioners for clinical investigations or for X-ray, ultrasound and MRI scans.

What treatments does he use?

Robert uses a variety of techniques which include joint manipulation, deep friction massage, neuro-muscular electrical stimulation (NMES), trigger point acupuncture, ultrasound, Block and FFT taping. His approach is aimed at reducing pain quickly and his areas of expertise include:
