Unfortunately the knee Helix is being dis-continued; we still have small and large sizes in stock, and as an alternative we suggest either the Patella Helix or ITB Helix depending on where you need the support.
The Knee Helix Compression Sleeve provides a moderate level of support to the lateral ligaments of the knee. The anterior knee, the patella and the patellar tendon are supported. This makes it an ideal knee support for patellar tendonitis, minor sprains, strains, and meniscus injuries.
Body Helix uses the latest advances in fabric science to make straps, wraps, and tape obsolete. The Knee Helix Compression Sleeve remains anchored to the skin, even while you lunge, bend and sprint. Our knee support slips on easily and rests comfortably just below the knee cap, giving support and compression to the entire patella tendon and its attachments. This is shown to be a tremendous help in the treatment of patellar tendonitis. The unique design eliminates any material directly behind the knee, alleviating the annoying "cutting in" that is present with old straps and bands.
The Knee Helix utilises Form Fit Technology that allows a comfortable fit and unrestricted motion. The compression sleeve will not absorb excess water, bacteria, or odours and can be washed after every wear. Because of the unique design of our knee supports, the material can be worn for hours or miles without the discomfort caused by other braces and sleeves.
If you need help deciding which Helix is the correct Helix for your knee, please view our blog for more information.
Please see the Patella Helix or or ITB Helix for comparison.
See our Full Knee Helix if you need greater support for meniscus injuries, arthritis, knee sprains or strains or if you have injuries to the lateral stabilising ligaments.
See our Full Knee Helix (Open) if you have a diagnosis of Runner's Knee, patello-femoral arthritis, or if you are experiencing pain directly behind the kneecap.
A proper fit is important. It is very important to measure your leg at base of the kneecap, just under the knee.
